We Believe

We believe that the every word of God is true and that He is able.

We believe that there is only one way by which man may be saved, Jesus Christ, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

We believe that God established the family.

We believe that it is the responsibility of the family to teach the next generation the wisdom given to us by God and of the atoning sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe that a strong relationship with God allows an individual a stronger relationship with others.

About Jody Dragoo

Jody grew up as the youngest in a family of four with her dad, mom, and older sister.  At the age of eight, and with the encouragement of her father, she was baptized into her small southern church.  Not long after, the family moved to a more secluded location, and Jody moved further away from the Lord.

In the midst of hard and lonely years, Jody met the love of her life, John.  This renewal of spirit let to a renewal of faith, and in February of 2002, with absolutely no heat to speak of, she made the decision to rededicate her life to Christ through a second baptism.

In June of that same year, she and John were married.  Together, John and Jody have welcomed two beautiful daughters into this world, Jordan and Jocelyn.  They also have a heavenly child, lost to miscarriage, that they anxiously await meeting.

Jody studied Education in college, eventually earning her Master's degree in Education Administration.  She spent 12 years in a variety of classroom settings within a low-socioeconomic school district.  It was here that she discovered the overwhelming need to minister to children beyond the classroom context and that the Lord was calling her to something beyond those walls.  In a move that shocked everyone around her, including her family, Jody resigned from teaching in what she calls a "nose dive of faith."

Trusting that the Lord would provide a way, she began a time of study and spiritual renewal. Now, with the full support of John and her daughters, Jody uses her gifts of learning and teaching to disciple children, youth, and adults in an attempt to bring God glory.

Along the way, God opened a door to teach at a local Christian private school, allowing Jody to combine her love of God with her natural teaching ability.

Jody also volunteers her time in her church's Ladies Ministry leading Bible studies and participating on the leadership team.
